A new trail has been opened that links Lows Lake with the Cranberry 50 trail. The Big Deer trail goes from Cowhorn Junction to the edge of Big Deer and is marked in red. Paddle to the Western edge of Lows and start the canoe carry to the Oswegatchie. Rather than putting back in at Big Deer, hike to the right along the Northern edge of the pond. You will see the Red marked trail that is 2.2 miles from Cowhorn. Email if you need aditional details. |
